Questions we get a lot.

Is this really for Sudan?+
Yes. Designed and tuned for north Sudan ANS operators above 14°N — Red Sea Hills, Bayuda desert, Nubian desert, Wadi Halfa belt. Darfur, Kordofan and southern Sudan are explicitly out of scope per the project spec.
What about RSF / SAF exposure?+
The compliance gate hard-stops operations against any cell with documented RSF / SAF / allied-militia territorial control. We screen the entity, beneficial owners, and offtake counterparties against US OFAC, EU, and UK Sudan sanctions regimes. Item 7 of the gate is explicit on armed-group exposure.
Will UAE refineries accept my gold?+
Possibly. Possibly not. UAE refineries have been under LBMA scrutiny since 2020 (Global Witness reports). Sudan is on every CAHRA list. Before commercial framing, we help you obtain written acceptance from at least one LBMA Good-Delivery refinery. If none will commit, the geological model still works but there's no commercial pathway — we will tell you that explicitly.
How does the per-pit feedback loop work?+
Enter a new assay; a Bayesian update fires on the surrounding cells via a 1.5 km Gaussian kernel (3 km for shear-zone or quartz-vein geology). Productive assays move neighbouring cells toward "productive"; blind-control pits are weighted higher because they're unbiased ground truth. Full update within 24 hours via camp Starlink sync.
Who owns the data we generate?+
You do. Your AOI, pit log, photos, voice notes, and assays are encrypted in Cloudflare R2 with a key you control. The UAE service has access via key escrow only for retraining, and access is logged. You can revoke and export at any time.
